greetings all,
i aquired a used computer from a friend whom runs an office w/o any discs whatsoever. i reformatted the computer and loaded xp pro sp1+2. with everything in the bios/cmos configured correctly, i have no audio from the computer at all. that includes the dvd rom when i attempt to play a music disc.

i have removed the m.b. and have found no manufacturer name on it. the processor is however, 1.5ghz.

below, find info that i aquired using bearc advisor as to the name(?) of the motherboard;
