Sound not working on my computer

The sound on my computer is not working whatsoever and I went to my device manager and its saying i dont have any of my sound, video, and game controllers downloaded. The computer that i have is the Dell Optiplex GX620 Windows XP can someone give me a link where i can download sound?

Are the correct playback devices enabled?

Like when i go to the device manager it shows ! for all the sound stuff. Do i have to end up buying a sound card or can i just download something for it

Idk about XP but in Vista when you right click on the volume control and click playback devices it shows a list of what's enabled/disabled, does anything come up there?

Can you take a picture of your device manager and post it up for us? Looks like you just need drivers installed.
