i recently formated my friends computer for him, i put on windows xp. hes computer is pretty old. he has a pentuim 3, 733mhz, 256 mb ram. the brand of the computer is mercury. anyway i went to the mercury website and downloaded all the relevant drivers. however the sound does not work. when i go to device manager, there is a yellow question mark on multimedia audio controller/driver. is this why the sound isnt working? and if so how do i fix it.
