Recently i lost sound on my computer, i have tried reinstalling the drivers but still nothing, i've decided to get a new sound card, but i'm not shure if that will fix it, in the task-bar in the bottom right of the screen there is no speaker logo, and i was wondering if that was the problem, and if a new sound card would be the solution?
My computer is a Dell Dimension 3000, the stock sound-card is built into the motherboard
