for some reason, out of nowhere (not sure when) all the sounds (besides music/video) that come out of my PC, like if something updated, or if i'm printing something (says printing complete, or my virus protection has been updated for example), it sounds like...a staticy robot for lack of better terms. it's usually pretty loud and annoying. i tried setting the windows sounds back to default to see if that would help, and it still acts up. i just installed a new printer today and it even does it when it starts printing. any ideas why? or how i can fix it? thanks in advance...
