sound troubles...

what browser have you been using????

if you go to another website with videos, do they work?

i'm using firefox, and no, it doesnt work on any other sites either. i tried using a different browser as well.

Try restarting your pc

wow if thats not the lamest response ever... Lets try some trouble shooting.. 1st thing to check is your driver for your soundcard. Ensure there isnt a newer one thats fixed maybe a flaw like this. 2nd check your internet settings have you tried another broswer to rule out a possible setting flaw in firefox? Have you updated your flash player to the newest one? Try those and check back if you still have problems...

yes, i restarted PC, yes i tried another browser, yes i installed latest plugins, yes i checked drivers. no the sound doesnt work on any other internet sites. anyone have any clue what's going on?

go to mycomputer>rightclick and go to manage> click on device manager and look for any yellow ? in there.. If any are seen address by telling us and we can help you.. Or you might try running a free program like radar sync which will scan and update drivers for you worked for me a few times when all else failed..

no i dont have sp3, still running sp2. I have no yellow "?" in device manager, and Radar Sync was nice for updating a few things, but didnt help my sound issue.

what is the yellow ? next to? Also do you have integreated sound in the motherboard or an external sound card? Sounds like you will need to go and get the drivers for the sound card we can help if you can answer those for me please.
