hey guys ...
i'm new here and in addition to that i know pretty little about computers ... well ... obviously i use them every day, but who doesn't nowadays, right? ... i'm just mentioning it to explain, that you can expect a basic understanding of computer technology from me, but if it get's too technical, you'll probably lose me ...
... i'd very much appreciate it, if you could take that into account with your answers ...
...
let's see if one of you whizz-kids can help an old fart like me with a little prob i've got ... i recently had windows 7 ultimate 64 bit installed on my asus laptop, since i really didn't like the vista it came with and it caused me loads of grief ... the change was a good move and i'm very happy with the way my lappy behaves now ... the only issue is, that ever since the installation my sound volume is much lower than it was before with vista ... everything on the mixer is set on "high" and i even installed "SRS HD Audio Lab", but to no avail (well ... it did improve the quality of the sound, of course, but it is still very low ) ... any idea what it could be and what i could do about it? ...
thx a bunch for your help guys and please excuse my poor english ...
