Hey, so i got a new laptop today...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834115546&Tpk=acer aspire as6530

And i was uninstalling all the crap ware that came with the laptop. When i clicked on the Audio Service and i got this error "This computer cannot play audio because the Windows Audio Service is not enabled.

Would you like to enable the Windows Audio Service?"

And there is no music on my laptop at all. Videos make no noise, when you start up theres no sound. Etc. etc.

Since i just got the laptop today i haven't made any restore points (i know im a genius) i cant just go back. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit and i defiantly haven't download any viruses or anything like that.. the only thing i've downloaded is Mozilla Firefox.

If anyone has any idea what to do or why its done this please help. Thanks in advance.

If you go to start > run (or that bar you can type in at the bottom) and type "services.msc", that should bring up the services window. From there you should be able to find and enable the audio service, if it's disabled.
