soundboard/chip drivers

Hi,

Tx for all your comments on my last post..

I have opened up the computer and found the model number for the sound card...

I have been looking high and low for the CD as it would make life so much easier... but no such luck...
The soundcard is called 'creative sb0090'... I entered this number on the creative website and got loads of drivers.. But I dont know which one to install... Could somebody please advise me on which one I should download.

Since you don't know the exact model number you can use the product identifier found on the upper right of the support page. http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/ That list the correct updates and options available for your model card. A quick search here does point at the Audigy line where the #2 item is one for your card. If you should have any problems with any download simply remove the existing drivers for another or correct updates.
