Spam question

I hope I posted this question in the right place.

How is it possible that sometimes a person can get spam e mail and the return e mail address is the same as the person who received the spam mail ?How does the spammer make it appear that the e mail originated from your own e mail address ?

In other words the "From" address is the same as the "To" address.

Do you check or look at the return e mail address of your spam ? It doesn't happen often maybe 1 out of every 100 spam e mails that I receive.

I found a very good spam blocker now. Blocks only spam and lets everything else through because it relies on a user data base of what is spam. The only problem is that it is expensive, $40 per year. It is called I haven't signed up yet because you get a 15 day trial period to evaluate it. I get so much spam ( 100 per day ). If you don't get so much spam there are also cheaper spam blockers on the market for you.

I had to remove the name of the product because no links are allowed in the forum. It wasn't my intention to promote this product. I was just telling of my experience. If you want to then do a search on google like I did for spam blockers reviewed and choose the one you feel is best suited for you.
