hey guys got a question-

i have two computers and im wanting to use one as storage and the other to be down stairs hooked up to my tv.

is it possible to use the one upstairs to store all my stuff and link it to the one downstairs so i can access the the files from down stairs?

i want the one down stairs to stay off the net-

i have a wireless lan router but i wouldnt know the first thing to do:confused:
 
If you want to just use it as storage, why don't you remove the hard drive from that computer and put it in the other one.
 
because i want the other computer to be clutter free for my girlfriend to use down stairs but i just wanted to know how difficult to link the both of them up
 
so thats basicly it?
would it be possible to boot my computer upstairs from one downstairs?
not that im lazy lol...
its just like having a remote control for your tv
