Speaker and headphone tip

I've noticed that my speakers automute when I have headphones plugged in. Has anyone else noticed this?

You wouldn't want to watch some adult moves at night with your headphones plugged in and the speakers blasting the sound al over your house. I think you shouldn't complain, that some guy decided to add that feature...
