The specs I can remember from the first computer we had in my house (2003) are:

Dell Dimension 4550 (mATX)
P4 2.66 GHz
80 GB HDD
GeForce 4 MX 440
512 MB DDR RAM
Some motherboard
19" CRT
250W PSU
XP Pro

I remember that it costed like $1300 or something, and I thought that was such a great deal then, and now it can barely play WoW. It's amazing how fast technology goes out of date.

Well, my mum used to have a Commodore 64, but our first "real" computer was an Olivetti with some 486 and... no clue about the rest of the specs, but it had Windows 3.1 installed on it.

And the specs of my first very own computer (which I got about 6 years back):
CPU: AMD K6-2 400MHz
RAM: 96MB PC100, upgraded to bliding fast 3x128MB PC133 (that was a lot of RAM and money).
GPU: NVIDIA Riva TNT 2 w/16MB VRAM, upgraded to GeForce 2 MX 64MB (both AGP)
HDD: 2GB WD Caviar, which I upgraded to a 40GB Seagate Barracuda (which I still use BTW).
Sound card: Nothing when I got it. I bought a glorious Creative AudioPCI (with some ensoniq Ensoniq chip). Oh all that glory of wavetable MIDI and software EAX.
And a badass 15-inch CRT. It has Windows 98SE, the best product ever that has "Microsoft" written on it.
