I know it's a common problem, but I need an apparently unusual fix. When I start my computer, I get a "Disk boot failure insert system disk and press enter" message. I know that this usually means my hard drive needs to be replaced or formatted. I have had this happen before, and the guy who fixed it for me told me that there was a battery, and when it doesn't get power, it flips a switch that makes it so the hard drive doesn't connect. It isn't supposed to switch it normally, but my battery is dead, so if I shut off my computer and cut off the power supply, the switch gets flipped. I popped open my computer and found what I believe to be the battery, it looks like some sort of watch battery, but I cannot find the switch. I am going to post pictures so someone can hopefully direct me to where it is. If you know of a different way to fix it, please let me know.
