Looks like you are buying from ibuypower or cyberpower. That will cost you more money than if you put it together yourself.

As for if it is good, it is decent. The 3570k is better for gaming. The GTX660 will be better also. GTX660ti is even better, as would be the 7870.

No it's from digital storm and its used

It's already build so I would have to buy a whole new part to change it and if it overpowered than that's fine

Thanks for your posts... Anyone else have anything to say?

@wolfeking Congrats on 10,000 post!

It's a good spec, the CPU is a little unnecessary for gaming but you've got a good pair of GPUs there.

It comes with windows 8 pro installed but when I look at system requirements for games they say nothing about windows 8. Will I still be able to play games with windows 8 or should I get windows 7?

The HD7870 is a good card eh?

I was thinking of buying one of those to replace the 7670 that came with my comp.. Think it could max out Far Cry 3?

I figured it could since I can get kind of close to max on the 7670

I'm on Windows 8 and most games seem to work. I've played games from test drive unlimited to Far Cry 3.

The card itself, yes it is good. I will not vouch for the drivers. My 4870 had no issue with drivers in game, but the 6970s have many issues. Take your chance if you want.

The Nvidia card (660ti) will perform similarly. Either one will do the job fine.

FC3 will max out on GTX260 or HD6770/5770/4870. 7870/660ti is far above that.

Pretty sure the 7870 and the 7670 use the same drivers. If I'm having no issues with the 7670 wouldn't the 7870 be fine as well?

Good to hear, so I won't have to buy a new one in a years time then :P

You can never drive it down to that. All cards from HD5450 to HD7990 use the same drivers. You can not count that one will not have issues just because another does not. Jason's 5870 has no issues, my 6970s do. Same drivers.

Just like overclocking. Just because one setup does have issues don't mean the exact setup will not for someone else.

I am just saying don't count on there being no troubles, especially if you do more than just game.

Even though they are the same generation?

I think I'll take my chances, lol. Seems cynical to expect driver issues, especially when I've had zero over the years spanning across like 8 different video cards.

even the same card. No 2 do act the same way put into the same situations.

Expect issues, that way you can not be surprised.
