speed me up

also something to take out unwanted files and not used, to get it as fast as when i first got it or faster than before, i have a new graphics card and a gig of ram so and 250gb hdd which i dont know how much ive used
 
defrag the harddrive if you haven't done that in a while. Run a disk cleanup. Delete the junk you dont want on the harddrive. Uninstall programs you no longer use.
 
this is going to sound nooobish but how do i access my hardrive....? cause i go to the program thing to clean/remove is that it?
