there's no way to speed up your computer unless it's being slowed down by too much stuff running. There are quite a few other posts about Hijackthis, ccleaner, and other such programs.

A few things you can do if you havent already done so, is to run disk cleanup, disk defragmenter, registry cleaners, scan for adware/spyware, and limit the number of startup entries via msconfig.
