On SpeedFan, what's Remote 1?

If I were you, I'd ditch speedfan and get something that's been consistently more reliable, such as PC Wizard. However, if this isn't the case for some reason, I do know some motherboards have temperature sensors in chipsets... If I had to guess, that's what I'd say...that or an erroronious reading, as Speedfan typically yields :P
 
I have the same motherboard and my values show similar results.
I am also trying to find out why the Remote 1 reads so high in comparison to the others.

I may find something, if so I will post back here.

Yeah, I love SpeedFan and it's my first-choice of temp programs to use when diagnosing a system, but it's never fun to play 'guess the misc. temp' whenever I load it up on a new system:( The Remote might also be your GPU if you have an video card.

Aside from PC Wizard, lots of folks like Everest.
