speedtouch wireless modem

recently baught it from ebay tried to setup using the wireless aol setup programme but fails
due to needing password and username which the person we baught it from didnt know etc so.... does anybody know what to do as ive emailed thomson but havent heard back.....

it is a thomson speedtouch st585v6 dsl bb683tk and the serial number is s/n:cp0812ktb8b

what can i do?

power the router on and push a pin in the reset button in the back, this should reset it to the factory default setting, you can then look in the userguide to get the default password.

i've got a speedtouch modem/router (the bebox) and it doesnt actually have a password set as default
