Hello,
I spilled a little (may be a spoonfull) salty water on the keyboard of my other laptop which was new :( now many keys dont seem to function properly. What should I do?

I would try and clean the keyboard, while it is removed from the laptop.
Check for corrosion under the keyboard too, salt tends to do that to metals. then reassemble the laptop and try it. You may just need to replace the keyboard. That is not generally expensive at all.

What wolfeking said is right on. If you wait a few days the keyboard may work when it completely dries out but the salt may still cause corrosion in the long run. Check ebay for a new keyboard, they are pretty reasonably priced and easy to replace.

ok ... it simply.... dried.... and working now :))) but i agreee the salt may cause corrosion later... and one more thing.... i dont shop from ebay. i prefer amazon.com much better... amazon is much easier to deal with... in my opinion...
