I have an acer 6935g gemstone. My younger bro spilt tea on the keyboard it wasnt much i thnk about 10 drops .my comp is working fine except the down and right arrow keys and that was the area where the tea was spilt.I used cold hair drier as soon as the tea was spilt but it didnt work out.actually half an hour since the tea was spilt it was working fine then the right arrow key stopped working followed by the down key after 15 mins please help i still have the warranty normal not accidental.

I think it would be best left upside down so the tea could drain out completely.

Are the keys sticky and that's why they don't work? Or they press up and down fine with no action.

You may need to disassemble to wipe the underside of the keys dry.

You'll never "dry" that sugar out of there if there was any.

I'm not very much sure about acer, but with HP, you can just pop out the keys and snap it back without any difficulty.

depending how good you are with computers you will be best shutting her down removing all the components IE Battery then if you are n the know disassemble and leave to dry

I had something similar happen with Toshiba laptop. It was dust. I took a paper clip and made it straight. Used needle nose and bent to form a small hook or barb. stuck it under the keys and started pulling them out. then blew out.

Well i dissassembled it i mean I opened the cover of hardrives and the motherboard and also removed it .
and kept it all night but still only those two keys arent working and In acer you cant remove the keys like HP.well the keys arent stickythey are fine only the right and down keys isint working and i believe I removed all the tea from the laptop but still the keys arent working and does anyone know how to remove the keyboard of ACER Gemstone 6935g.I cant remove the keyboard please help.Well I am not a complete noob but not an expert like u guys I can assemble a desktop blindfolded
