I am using on board sound.
I have a pair of 5.1 speakers.
I bought a logitech headset.

So I i bought a headphone splitter used for an ipod, and tried connecting the 5.1's then the splitter, and having the headset connected to the splitter.

Cause, I dont want to go behind my computer and unplug one of the speaker wires, to plug my headset in.

Thanks

what exactly was the purppse of the post?
to inform us?

I have a splitter to..Got a cheap one from radioshack
It doesn't work the best..sure it works.and i get decent quality sound
But it does reduce the quality at times..and i get a bit of crackling and such

I was in a rush....

I want to plug my headset in my on board sound, and still have my speakers plugged in.

Cause I am currently unplugging one of my speaker plugs, to plug my headset in.

I bought a splitter, thinking this would help...But I dont know how it exactly works,....

umm.. the best thing would be to get a amplified splitter, or just plug your headset into the headphone port on the speaker volume control peice, and unplug when you want to use speakers.

That is going up the price range a bit, getting an amplified splitter. Go the Two dollar splitter ALL the way man. :D:D:D
