Most people know what viruses are, however most dont know much about adware. For those of you who dont know. Adware is files which monitor your internet activity and forward the results onto companies who analys the results and build consumer profiles on you. Please spread the word in as many forums as you are registered in as adware is becoming a big problem for many people and half of the people dont know what it is.

I ask that I get some mention for this. Please if you help me, just mention my name at the bottom as I started it. Thanks.

one of the ways adware gets on your computer is downloading freeware/shareware programs, this is how they make money off giving away their program, like the saying goes "nothing is ever realy free" so be careful to want programs you download, and if you download these free programs and dont read the find print then you yourself is the blame.
