So I run spysweeper regularly and for the past few times a trojen horse comes up with the names "NSIS media extension" and i get pop ups from it saying to download some computer cleaning software. I know not to click it but i just need to figure out how to permentatly get rid of it even tho i click delete files after i run the spy sweeper.

yah i own the full version but i dont know why this spyware keeps coming back is it possible it is in a different file and it automatically replaces itself when deleted?

I would run Spysweeper, Ad-aware AND your anti-virus program, and it hopefully will completely get rid of it. Otherwise it might be a program you have installed.

None of those programs will catch it. Even Symantec was unaware of this problem.

To get rid of it in your %win%\system32 directory, look for the following files:
krnsvr32.dll
wmdmb32.dll

Try and delete them in Safe Mode. If that doesn't work, move them and rename them. You'll be able to delete them afterwards.

Remove the NSIS folder and registry entries, but do NOT use the uninstal program as that will install another worm. Reboot and you should be ok. Then delete those two files.

ive tried looking for the files and i find stuff and delete it but somehow it always comes back does anyone havea step by step to FINALLY delete this stupid spyware!!! thanx for all the help so far.
