SQL Anywhere 9 over VPN

We just set up a VPN site and we cannot connect to our SQL Sybase Anywhere 9 server with our application. it states that it cannot find the server. We can however ping and RDP into the server.

Can anyone help me out on this, i have a feeling it is a S.A.9 problem but I could be wrong...
 
I fixed it...

In the ODBC i had to put in the host=servername in the TCPIP properties. Before we moved offices that wasn't an issue.

Hope this helps someone in the future.
