SRAM or DRAM?

i wanna buy some more RAM for my computer but i dont know if i should buy SRAM. I have the money to but is it really worth it?

Uhh... What motherboard do you have? Unless it's older than time itself it's probably not using SRAM, it would also have to be very old to be using DRAM. Anything somewhat recent will be using DDR SDRAM, if not DD2 SDRAM.

Cromewell said it pretty clearly, you can only use RAM that was designed for that specific motherboard/computer.

As the other members have said, you can only use RAM that is the same to what you already have, whether it be SRAM, DRAM, DDR, DDR2 etc etc.
A good way to check would be a program like PC Wizard which can be downloaded from here:
