im having an extremely weird problem. i got my ssd and v card in today. i connected both. ssd into a sata2. crossfiring v card in but no drivers yet. all seemed well but relized my cd drive was unplugged.

well i turned it off and connected it. after that i couldnt start windows. i even got a second blue screen to a instant restart. everytime i try to load into windows my v card fans go beserk, speeding up! i disconnected the ssd and restarted and all went well.

nothing is on the ssd yet either... not sure how to transfer my os from the hdd to the ssd

Dont transfer or "Ghost" your OS from the HDD to the SSD,just do a clean install on your SSD because a Hard drive works in a different way to how an SSD works so when you transfer the files over they will all be in a mess and probably slow down your SSD drive!

prob not the ssd at all. i took out one of the g cards (5770) and w7 did boot. though w7 did boot before with both. idk if im missing something or what. w7 seems to work fine now, that i have 1 v card in. three in a row.

not sure if im configuring the g card wrong or what to crossfire. most likely it, bec of the random beserk of the fans.

i have seen ppl with a sli bridge? used when crossfiring these, i have it but dont see anywhere to connect them?

maybe i should uninstall the drivers. thought my comp was possessed. very odd

after waking up, i tried testing this again. i tried to get into windows with both v cards connected. it couldnt load windows...

after unhooking one, it worked.

to crossfire, its not as easy as connecting both to the motherboard and thats that?

you need to have the bridge hooked up to both cards to run crossfire. there should be a 1 inch tab if not 2 at he top of the card towards the video connectors. what brand model do you have for your video cards. that may fix the issue with windows not booting with both cards

I had a bridge every since I built this computer and forgot that the bridge came with the motherboard, and not the v card.

That bridge is too small and bought a HiS bridge off of new egg. although i own a xfx, im guessing it wont matter
