ssd hard disk not as fast as I piced

Hi guys, Im just getting a ssd hard disk couple days ago, after I put win 7 OS in it and reboot it, I found that is not as fast as my piced before. Do I have to do some setup first to make it go fast or somethins else I did wrong. Please give some advices.
 
 
I asked because most newer SSDs are just about plug and play. You don't have to do too much tweaking to get it to work. Older SSDs however are plagued with lag spikes.

I was agreeing with you that needing to know the model was essential.:good:

My take is:
Also that the most newer ones don't need as much tweaking and will plug and play with 7 well.
There are still tweaks for the newer ones to optimize performance and longevity even with TRIM.

Some newer ones don't support TRIM.
Since we don't have much info we don't know what's been accomplished.

If the bench doesnt look good:

Back up data.
Secure erase ssd.
Load os.
Use an up-to-date ssd tweak program and/or a guide, for things like:
Enable Write Caching
Disable indexing
Disable defragmentation
Turn Off the Disk Defragmenter Schedule
Disable Superfetch
There are others.
7 or the tweak prog. may do all or most of it for you. Best to check each and make sure.
And if you want to move data/temp/tmp, user/public folders from C: to conserve space & r/w's to the ssd, it may need to be done maually.
Then,,
As you load each other prog. to the ssd (after the os) you may also be able to move some of their storage folders from C:
