I installed an Intel 320 Series SSD last month, and yesterday installed a OCZ Agility 2 SSD. I ran CrystalDiskMark to see my read/write speeds and I was pretty disappointed.
The intel specs say:
— Sustained sequential read: Up to 270 MB/s
— Sustained sequential write: Up to 220 MB/s
CrystalDiskMark results were 218 MB/s read and 92 MB/s write speed.
The OCZ specs say:
— Maximum sequential read: Up to 285 MB/s
— Sustained sequential write: Up to 200 MB/s
*no sustained read speed listed in the specs
CrystalDiskMark results were 163 MB/s read and 67 MB/s write speed.
Those numbers are pretty different. I have no idea why the results were so low but I'm pretty disappointed. Any thoughts??
Also, I copied some picture files from my old HDD to my OCZ and now I cant open them although I can see the thumbnails.
