Hi

Just bought an acz agilty 3 60 gb but it seems to be ruuning slow, pc is achi mode its on a sata II port but it is showing the exact/very simarlar speeds to my normal HDD however the windows exp index has now shot up to 7.2 from 5.9.

Any Ideas?

ide can sometimes be about as fast as achi but as you say, achi is best. other than knowing the settings are to achi, did you install Windows and boot to Windows for the first time, with the system in achi? have you checked to see that it's running in that mode right now?

How 'bout lasted achi driver(or driver that OCZ recommends for your system) and FW?

If using a benching software, ATTO is what the manuf'rr's use. Compare r/w specs w/ that?

Didnt know anyone replied to this, thanks.

Basically did a bit of research and found the ocz spec sheet which show simalar speeds to what I have, also found a lot of people complaining about how ocz adviertise their products and end up with simalar results as I have, still im trying to sort something out with some ram and it is now booting from my standard hdd and I can really tell the difference, although the benches are not as good as I thought the difference in speed is quite amazing.
