SSD question

say i wanted to use multiple SSDs in RAID would i need anything else to do that or just the SSDs themselves, like say i wanted to use 5 or 6
 
What's your motherboard model?

Most (mid-range and higher end) modern motherboards have integrated RAID controllers. If yours has RAID, then all you need is the drives. If not - well, you'll need to get either a new SATA controller that has RAID or you could invest in a real hardware-controlled RAID card - but those are usually only used in servers/high end workstations and are priced accordingly.
