SSD to external hard drive

Hi,

I recently upgraded my old SSD in my desktop to a new, larger SSD. I now have the old SSD collecting dust(Kingston 30GB SSD nowVseries) and am wondering if it is possible to put it in a case and use as an external hard drive for backing up work?

Yes. You can find a external 3.5" with an adapter, or preferably just use a 2.5" enclosure. Rosewill makes a very handsome brushed aluminum 2.5" one.

That look's really slick, may have to stick my 120GB OCZ SSD into one of them.

The pictures really don't do it justice either, I just wish the black plastic cable area was brushed Alum also, but that's personal preference. Rosewill is a great company so I figured the gamble was worth it. Needless to say, I was exceptionally happy with it. Another great product from them.
