stable liquidcooled fx 8150 clocks

you already have yours, did you go to a store and pick it up or something or what? and really each chip does different, you just have to make sure you check for stability and all.
 
As jonnyp11 said each chip is different, but I'm no overclocker so I don't know. This post isn't exactly helpful, but what kinds of temps are you getting? -Just out of curiousity.
 
i say, and i posted this idea in the bulldozer thread, but we should get you and bigfella together and you 2 run the same benches and post all the numbers and your exact specs up, then we compare and see how the processors truly compare with no argument of bias sites and all, although i wouldn't doubt bigfanboy upping his numbera little just so it guarantees a win for his precious intel :P

I see, hahaha. Maybe get someone else to do it. If linkin does get a 8120 he could get some numbers up too. :P
 
if i had space in my sig, which i might make, i'd sig scott's reply, along with in another thread a guy posted that he had forgotten a cable, so: if all else fails, read the damn manual, i want to sig that too.
 
A nice cool 60c under load at just under 4.9ghz.. Corsair h60 fits. Looks identical to phenom x6, just looks like extra pins. Same color and the same exact print as phenom. Same stuff just 2 more cores. This thing is better for gaming, the 1100t was terrible for gaming, it gets bottlenecked with gpus barely being used...
 
well according to the benches it just depends on the game cuz it was scoring less in a couple of them. and feel free to give me your old phenom since obviously you aren't using it :D

No lie dude im selling it for like 100 bucks soon and that thing has never seen 60+ c temps. Push pull water cooling block is gr8
 
there was a reason i said GIVE, i be broke, spent 60 of the 95 i had on sunday on rage for my 360, loved the game but it was over in like 10-12 hours so i was a little pissed, gunna try to sell it on ebay or something for like 50 i guess.
 
(so then i can sell it for a profit) JK, but i would love to have it if only i could afford the mobo, ram, and psu to go with it, along with a new hdd cuz mine's ide and i would be fine with ubuntu for now, along with the win8 dev preview too.

that's the only way you'd get it, for needing it i win, remember that in my sig you can see my f-ing pentium dual core et2210 @ 2.2ghz and them my computer is a 2x f-ing b1tch-a$$ anthon xp 2400+, and ontop of that my mbr is screwed up from trying win8 dev preview so i can't even use the damn computer, i think i win on that front which isn't one you want to win on :mad:

Your computers suck. You are 15. Mine sucked when I was 15 and first got it. Had a 478 socket p4 with 512Mb of ddr 2100 RAM. Over the years I upgraded and added to it, resulting in what I have in my sig now.

You couldn't do anything with it if he sent it to you cause you'd have to get a new motherboard and from the sounds of things, you never have any money. To use an 1100T you'd have to get an AM3 board which means you'll need to at least get ddr2 RAM and of course a better psu, if not just for the 24 pin connector.

Haha. So I feel like it would be put to better use in my hands.

Doesn't mean I don't have the money to purchase a new motherboard, GPU, PSU, and RAM.

actually i have emachine which has ddr2 ram and a good hdd, so i could find a cheap am3 used and get it and use my crappy rosewill 500w, since there isn't anything else like a gpu then i'd be fine as long as i replaced it after a little while, then i can call ms and get them to reliscence the os cuz someone here said they aren't too picky if you doing something like this or i can say i replaced the mobo or whatever, so really i'd be fine, so ha to you sir :P
