Stalker device?

I'm very paranoid. A laptop was given to me as a gift. Is it possible for someone to install some sort of "personal spyware" to track my activity? If so, how do I check if it is being done to me?

if you are really really paranoid just reinstall windows, thatway no software which was put on there could be left on, and the only way they could track you then would be through a hardware tracking device

Well, a normal person would not track what you do with your laptop. Installing spyware or anything like that would not be something an average person would do, and hardware would be so expensive that i highly doubt they would do. As i said before, post a hijack this log.

dont worry about it Alexis, he doesnt have a virus. read the earlyier posts, Alexis, they keep thinking you have a virus, i tryed 2 explain 2 them a million times that thats not what your talking about lol.

Yes they are tracking you right now! They are watching you and so is everyone else, be careful, be very careful! The best thing you can do is mail your laptop to me so that they cant track you anymore...

The laptop has a tiny camara in it...ROFLMAO!
