Standing By and Hibernating

stand by post your computer in a semi power consumption state. ie. you memory stays intact and power has to keep the memory there. where as hibernating takes all your memory and stores it in the hard drive and compleatly shuts down your computer.

b/c it stors all your data on the hard drive and when you start it, it puts the data on the hd back to the memory
