Does anyone know if there is a way to make the start menu like transparent? Is there a way of doing it through the Registry?

Also, I downloaded some different WIN XP Themes off of the internet and i extracted the file and there is only the Windows Visual Style File type there.. How can I install that into the themes since it didnt come with an installer?

And unfortunately, that didnt work for me. Not only it didnt work, but also it bring my computer down into a lower speed. WTH

The Vista transformation pack is one to avoid. After getting into the msconfig and disabling a pair of items there a manual registry edit following the installer's removal of several items saw most of that gone. But I'm still stuck with the change in appearance of the shutdown menu and a circular Vista looking icon on the Windows Explorer toolbar. I simply decided to multi OS the system rather then trashing XP totally there.
