Started fixing my new desktop and im clueless

hey everyone

new to the forum. bought an older computer off a mate the other day and i started working on it by purchasing a wireless internet card for it. that went in easy as all hell. but now im stuck. my mother board is a ASUS P5KPL-CM. i want to give it more ram, a graphics card and i want to put windows 8 on it. is all of this possible and whats the best i can spec it up to.
 
You need to list out the spec of your existing PC. Then give us a budget and tell us what is the main use of your PC.
