That vid card is horrible...''yes the price is good but its essentially suitable to use as a coaster on your coffee table,

I'd recommend something a bit better...even if your not a gamer,
 
ok ill upgrade the card then...the reason of this computer I'm making is that I'm going to try to use it as a server

Well, sorry...if you dont game then...cant beat 20 bones..

but it is agp so im not sure if ur mobo is agp.
 
that means that there wont be any slot to plug in the video card into :D
try looking for a inexpensive PCI one that'll work with your motherboard

i mean it does have 4 GB's of ram and 1TB of hard drive?
 
Yeah, it will be fine for a server. Hell, you can get away with a P4 w/ 512mb ram for a simple server. I would spend a few $$$ more and get a nvidia 9400 or something.
 
do i need the video and sounds card though if its integrated into my mobo and im only using the computer as a server?
 
You don't need them, no. It just leaves the door open for different uses, like HD playback, etc. What do you plan on doing with this server?
