I built a pretty cheap system 5 or so months ago, and decided to stick with old parts I had, because well, I couldn't afford a complete rebuild. I kept my old DDR2 RAM, which obviously meant I bought a DDR2 mobo. Thanks to the people who helped me in my other post I think I've figured out which GPU to get. Its time for me to upgrade to DDR3, and like before, I can't really afford a total rebuild but this time I'll do it better, so this is what I'm keeping / replacing:
Keeping:
AMD Athlon II X2 245 Processor 2.90Ghz
My case (Medium size case, no reason to replace it at this time, everything fits in it fine)
My hard drives
Replacing:
Motherboard
RAM
Video Card
PSU
My current ideas:
Mobo
PSU
GPU
RAM
I'd really appreciate some criticism if you think there's a better piece. I'd like this build to be pretty upgradable in the future. I don't want to get a PSU that I'll have to replace next time I upgrade. I am thinking about replacing my processor as well soon, but not right now.
