I am starting to overclock now, i know it has taken a while because of my RAM but found the problem-they needed a little more juice so upped the voltage and stable system
I'm on an E6750 stock is 2.66GHz, 1333 FSB.
So far on stock voltage of 1.472V i have got it up to 2.8GHz but have read that people have managed to get it as far as 3.5 to (and this sound INSANE to me) 3.8 GHz
on stock voltages.
So my question here is because i am hardly an expert on this, should i push as far as i can until heat or instability takes over, then knock the voltages up? Obviously if it is too hot, drop it a little and save up for an after market heatsink, then carry on
or should i knock em up before it gets the really unstable point?
