I just backed up all of my files to an external hd, after re-installing Windows XP Home Edition. Now my computer is very slow and the graphics are not up to par. How can I totally reset everything, get rid of both Windows versions that are now on my computer, clean it all up, then re-install Windows and import my info from the external drive?

you can just plop the windows cd in and hit enter to install windows. when you get to the point where you slect where to install windows go over to your partition. and hit d to delete it. follow it from there i think you have to hit like enter then l. after go to the blank partition and hit enter. it will ask you to format it and hit enter and it should start it all over
