Starting WOW again

Hey guys :D

Recently i have looking for mmorpgs to play as i do go out a lot and see friends but i find i never have anything to do when home on my own. I used to play wow a few months ago i played it for about 6 months, started my own guild :) that went well for a while then things went bad and i got bored with wow XD. Ive decided to give it another shot but im not going to let it take over my life :P just a bit of fun in my spare time.

What about you guys how many of you CFers play wow :)
 
Used to, stopped playing 3 or 4 months ago.

If anyone wants to start playing who doesn't already and wants to recruit a friend By all means i will recruit you, main reason I stopped playing is because I can't afford it and as you get a free month for recruiting someone :rolleyes: and 1-60 in a month with a pro like myself :P will be a walk in the park.

Once I get a job and once I get money saved up for driving lessons, a car, insurance and my new system, I will probably start up again, but as you see, my priorities are for real life, not virtual WoW :D

Im not into mmorpgs,so ive never tried it.

If you let it be it is.

I know (knew) people who would play 12 hours+ every single day without fail because they would let themselves. I cought myself playing 4 hours+ on school days and realised I was getting bad (anything over 2 is too much :P) so cut down. The people that play these ridiculous hours have 0 control over anything in life, that is why they get addicted
 
ok first, i played till about last april, then i moved and havent had the money or time to have internet installed.

can be depend on your personality and the amount of time you have because you have no real social life.

whaaaaaaaaaaat?!?!?!?

I would adore to have the money again just to be able to have a go at this brilliant game, it is deffinately one of the games that defines the naughties and it deservers to be, not just because of popularity, but because of quality, it is a brilliant game, one that every MMORPG since has modeled itself upon because it was that good

Wasn't really fun, quests got boring for me, and I don't like paying 15$ a month for a game I won't play often : P

hmm I must admit in peach WoW there isn't much quest diversity: go get x nubmer of items, go kill x number of mobs, go kill mobs to get x number of items, go kill x number of mobs and get x number of items, go kill x boss mob, go escort x from x to x...it does get repetative.

But BC quests and wotlk quests are much much better :D
 
I played till I saw how horrible the Burning Crusade was vs original WoW.

Now when I see how badly the Lich King is I am so glad I got away from the game.

BC added alot of depth and extra stuff from peach WoW, wotlk did the same as from BC, BUT, they cocked it up with that one because they got greedy (it is Activision Blizzard, what do you expect :mad:) and stupid (again, Activision Blizzard) so decided to make everything easier, so guilds could clear new raids the night it comes up with few-no wipes and any raid is puggable and epics are gettable from hc's. They noobed it up to get more people basically, so any kind of skill from players has dissapeared, but everyone playing feels like a pro "because they cleared naxx 25 with 15 men with no wipes :D"

If you are leveling with recruit-a-friend you and your friend get 300% experience if you are in a party and both of you get a zhevra mount
