I want to add a program to my startup list. I know how to use msconfig to remove programs but how do i add one that is not on the list to the list?

I always thought that's what this folder was for: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup or instead of "All Users" type in your username..

Just drag a shortcut of the program you want to have startup over to start(wait for the menu to pop up while holding down your left mouse button) then drag it to program files then to startup and place the shortcut in there.

just right click on it and there should be an option to "pin to start menu"

Yes but pin to start menu is not your actual startup devices.
