When you got start>all programs>Startup... there is nothing there so whats it for?

stupid question i know but i dont see the point in it at the mo

some apps like to put startups there. They tend not to do it these days.
(PS there may be another startup folder under the user name "user", which will load for everyone, and one for the specific user )

think its still there, not got a vista rig running at the moment but pretty sure its there for legacy apps
