my case is empty, on carpet not psu so theres an opening.
and my cat keeps rubbing up against it, so when i put parts in, how do i know that wont kill the parts.

Just touch the case so you discharge any static in you or the case itself...not sure if the case can hold a static charge though without anything giving it power...

hmm, try rubbing your head on a peice of metal and see if it shocks you bad. i'm pretty sure a case won't hold static electricity, unless it's a plastic case.

ah ok. thanks
and also when iam building and connecting parts, should i wear these blue*color shouldnt matter*, disposable rubber like gloves, used for like when using paint and stuff.
to cover finger oil?
