Steady Windows update?

Hey,

So for the past while, my desktop has been constantly doing a windows update.



Any idea why these keep updating like this? It's only my desktop, not my laptop.

You really don't need net framework unless a program requires it. Just hide that particular update so it won't keep trying to install it.

Hmm, try removing them all, and see if it still does it, like john said though, unless you solely need it, there is no point having .NET. I only use it as I code VB.NET occasionally.

I needed net framework to run a character mod program for boarderlands. Do you think if i tried deleting it then reinstalling it, that might fix it?

Yeah, uninstall it and reinstall it and it should work then. If not, there is something wrong with your update folder.

Windows 7 OS already has built-in .NET 1.0,1.1,2.0,3.0 and 3.5.
Do you REALLY need .NET 4.0 or higher?
Of course unless if you are programming using that version or run programs which require it otherwise what's the point.
