Steam problems

Steam is giving me the following error when I try to launch CSS:

Googling gave me the following results:

- Verify game cache DONE
- Create shortcut for games on desktop and launch from there DONE
- Restart Steam DONE
- Delete clientregistry.blob DONE
- Deleting everything in /Steam except Steam.exe and /SteamApps DONE
- Steam folder : not on read only NOT DONE

I wasn't able to uncheck the Steam folder's read-only parameter. It was grayed out, but nonetheless, when I unchecked it and applied, and re-opened the properties for Steam's folder, it was back to read-only.

I tired using the following command in CMD:

attrib /S -r C:\Program Files\Steam\

Without success;

Parameter format not correct -

HELP

well either its unavilable or u trying to use a steam for free, u get that wen u try to play css for free using steam crack. thats a big no no

koOp, I don't like your accusations. I am using a fully legal, payed for version of CSS.



I tried re-installing, but I just noticed I have a backup of the games, I have to try installing that.
