Hello,

I cant seem to change which screen steam plays on, i want to do this as my left screen (main screen with the toolbar @ the top but it is bad in quality) how do i change the screen the game plays on (right the better 1080p one (not main screen))

Some games can switch what screen it plays on in the menu most cant. Set the 1080 monitor as your default screen and the games will load on that screen.
 
just click and drag the shortcut to the other monitor. if you want to change the monitor to default

/ Start / control panel / display / adjust screen resolution and select the dislay that you want to default.
 
Like 99% of full screen applications, it will open on your primary display. Either swap the primary display or play in borderless windowed mode. When I am home I will drop you a link to a small program that lets you play any game in a borderless window, which is the same as full screen. You set your game to play in windowed mode, move it to the correct screen then hit F3
