is it required to put the stickers on the case?
like the AMD sticker that comes with the CPU and the sticker i got with my PSU.
i kno you have to put the sticker that you get with Windows XP but i want to kno if the other stickers are required.
 
Uhh....there are no requirements for putting anything on your case. You don't need the windows xp sticker on your case, you just need that for the code of activation on it.
 
its your case, they cant MAKE you put anything on it, i put stickers on my case to show her insides off :P
 
Actually you are supposed to put the XP sticker on your case, the exact words on the sticker are: "You are required to affix this Certicate of Authenticity to the exterior of the PC." But then agian who listens to that.

I never got a sticker, OEM package.

It's only "required" for resellers to apply them to the case.

welllll, my version of windows isnt Authentic... sooooo :rolleyes:

ya i thought about that, but i dont really like how the AMD sticker or the enermax(PSU) sticker looks like. now if nvidia or XFX had a sticker and it looked kool id put it on.. and a DFI sticker like the lanparty sign. that would be sweet. or a SLI sticker..

exactly so do i have to put it on since i got it or no?? i dont really mind b/c ill be putting it in the back...
 
are you talking about the big sticker with the Serial on it, or are you talking about the "Designed for Windows XP" thingy?

i dont think if you buy xp seperatly it come with the designed for windows xp thingy. i think it only has it if you buy a prebuilt with it already installed.
 
oh, that lil bugger? stick that on the inside of your case, so its not loseable, but also not stealable, lol.... i used to jack the XP Pro keys from my computers at school.... stupid dells, lol

...it says you have to put it in the exterior not the interior....
but anyways does anyone kno y the exterior? b/c you could always just look inside if you need any info thats on that sticker right?
 
Tsk,tsk,tsk Ku-sama shouldnt be doing that.... although I must admit to using one 2000 Pro CD (OEM) to install onto 4 computers so far.
 
If this becomes a confession thread, I bet some of us will be banned :D I am not even going to name what I have done ;)
