store music on hard drive...but listen to it on Itunes on my computer?

ok. So, I have 130 Gigs of Itunes music and video on my External Hard Drive which I moved to it from my computer(s). I had ITunes on both my home and work computer. 120 gigs on my home computer and 9 gigs on my work computer. Here's the problem, everything will now play off of my hard drive on my home computer, but it wont play on my work computer! D:
I did everything on them exactly the same, i dont know what the problem could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What can I do to be able to open Itunes on my work computer (with my hard drive plugged in) and be able to listen to the music on my hard drive?

simplify your post a little bit. I'm kind of confused with how you got to the problem.
